Doggie Day School focuses on training, socialization and play. From 9 am to 12:30 obedience class is in session so be sure to pack your pup's favorite treats! 1230-1 is nap time so they can rest their minds and dream of becoming teacher's pet. 1:00 to 3:00 is recess to help them stay in shape, so make sure they bring their coats if it's cold outside. 3:00 to 4 is manners class to help them be the well behaved family members we all hope to raise our dogs to be. 4:00 to 5:00 is always practicing patience while the teacher fills out notes for home. We also have grooming and boarding available for your convenience.
This School does have recess and nap time like your average day care, but it also is chock full of classes with a qualified teacher that not only truly cares for your dog but can guide, educate and keep your pup out of trouble if they have a tendency to get themselves into it.
It's weekdays only and runs 9-5, closed on holidays.
Drop off is from 730-9 am, and pick up is from 4-7 pm.
If you cannot pick your dog up by 7pm, they will be boarded for the night.
Room Service is every other week.
Let's face it, not every student makes honor roll. Thankfully this school has decades of experience working with troubled adolescents and even dogs on death row. We have board and train programs for dogs not ready to be students, and a great principal's office and reform school for anyone feeling like being a bully at school. Your students for sure, will be safe at school.
Students must be fully vaccinated, must come to school wearing an ID tag with their parent's phone number on it, come to school hungry and pack a lunch (training treats), and have their First name and last initial written on their belongings. They do not need to be spayed or neutered, but females in heat will be asked to stay home during their cycle. We hate pests here so make sure your pup is current on flea/tick prevention.
At the end of each day the teacher will fill out a short update for the parents on anything important. There will also be a social media post to share photos or video of the day so you can see some of what your dog did. If you'd like to talk to the teacher we'd be happy to schedule a P/T conference!
If you would like to reinforce the education at home, we highly recommend signing up for private sessions or one of our group classes.
Tuition is due at the beginning of each month.
