At our facility, we employ a balanced training approach, seamlessly combining positive reinforcement with corrective measures to achieve optimal harmony with your canine companion. Here's a glimpse into their daily routine:
Training Focus:
- Multiple training sessions each day, addressing both positive reinforcement and correction of negative behaviors.
- Individual and group training sessions, fostering adaptability and social skills.
- Exposure to various stimuli, including people, sights, sounds, animals, to enhance their overall resilience.
Physical Exercise:
- Structured exercises and training walks to keep them physically active and mentally stimulated.
- Dedicated free time allowing them to sniff and play and just let the mind relax and be free.
Diverse Environments:
- Training sessions on and off the property, as well as within the home environment.
- Exposure to a variety of settings ensures adaptability and reinforces learned behaviors.
Health and Maintenance:
- Weekly nose-to-tail examinations and weight checks to monitor and maintain optimal health.
- Groomer on staff for regular maintenance, ensuring they are well cared for away from home.
Comfortable Accommodations:
- Nightly rest in individual crates equipped with a bed, bone, soft music, and a night light for a peaceful sleep.
Our comprehensive approach ensures a well-rounded training experience, promoting both physical and mental well-being for your beloved canine companion.
Your Experience
1. Initial Evaluation:
- Schedule a meet and greet to evaluate your dog and discuss realistic goals.
- Choose a program and pay the deposit to secure your spot.
2. Pre-Drop Off Preparation:
- One week prior to your drop-off day, we'll confirm your appointment and collect proof of vaccinations.
- Prepare for drop-off by gathering the few items needed (details provided).
3. Drop-Off Day:
- Drop off your dog at the scheduled appointment.
- Supply plenty of your dog's food, supplements and any medications.
- Be current on flea/tick prevention with next dose in a ziploc bag with your dog's name and the date it is due written on it.
4. Week 1:
- At the end of the first week, we'll contact you to schedule all upcoming appointments.
- Enjoy weekly updates from your trainer via text and occasional social media appearances.
5. Ongoing Personal Training:
- Visit every two weeks for personalized training sessions.
- Additional sessions are available at no extra cost.
- Training sessions take place on and off property, or in your home as needed.
6. Go Home Session:
- Time to prep you for the first week at home.
- Receive a Go Home package with recommended training equipment.
- Finalize payment of the remaining balance.
7. One-Week Follow-Up:
- Return for a follow-up session to ensure a successful transition.
8. One-Month Check-In:
- Visit one month later to ensure everything has settled in smoothly.
9. Post-Program Support:
- Additional follow-up sessions available at no extra cost for up to three months after program completion.
- Benefit from a refresher two to three months after your dog returns home, ensuring the longevity of the positive habits and responses instilled during the initial training by strengthening those neurological pathways.
